I'd presume that this game was a lot more vibrant when it came out. But there is a lack of a playerbase for an online game that REQUIRES IT.
This game is dead, don't play it unless you can rally up a bunch of players who want to make a server/match/whatever.

It's a fun and visually appealing game for the first half hour. However, there's not much else in the game. That's not a fault from the game at all, as modders in the community have made fantastic mods for this game, which adds to replay ability. Other than that, it's really just a music visualizer that you can interact with.
I'd really only recommend this game if you have a lot of time to kill.

One of the most exemplary instances of a sequel done right across all media. Just as scary as the first, if not more. The intensity of this classic game is awesome, and the story is captivating.
If you haven't gotten either DS or DS2, get them both and play them.
Could not stop playing it once I started

The only horror game so unsettling that I had to get up and walk away from it at one point.
Get this classic game, turn off the lights and prepare to ♥♥♥♥ yourself from paranoia and neverending dread

Get good asap because you and your team will get your ass wooped fast.

This game is a great reimaging of Quake, right in the midst of ID software's renaissance that gave us games like DOOM 3 which followed the same process.
However, Bethesda's takeover of ID software caused some sort of mess up with graphical settings in games over what, 8 years? 10? however old games that can still look nice on computers with higher power in processing and graphical output.
However, you can fix this problem with various links in the Community hub, where you won't have to play with a game that looks like ♥♥♥♥ for whatever reason.

This is a great port to the PC from the N64. Wonderful visuals are present, yet the sound still sounds as fuzzy as it did back in '98. Perhaps your nostalgia factor will allow this to pass, as it kinda did for me.
Only thing I have to say is that the first level is a PAIN IN THE ASS.
As embarrassing as it is to admit it, I've been playing video games for 17 out of 20 years of my life and every time I come back to it, I can't beat it.
Screw that level.
Anyways, I recommend it.

You get what you pay for. It's over the top, but that's what they were going for. It's stupid, but in a fun way.
Honestly I would only recommend it if you want some sort of closure on the dead franchise.

Absolutely great. I've only played about three to four hours, but it is definitely not what you think it is. I heard a lot of criticism about the port of the game being from the mobile version, but it is not what you expect. Completely playable with a controller, and you're able to relive the classic, or, if you're like me, experience it in a whole new way.

Only one game mode, so not A LOT of content, but still fun for its price.
