The movement and graphics are clean and enjoyable right off the bat.
Combat is fluid and quick to master, you learn early on to avoid certain choreographed attacks and it's a fun system.
Feels like Diablo 2 with some roguelike elements. The permanent progression system is easy to learn and rewarding, every run feels easier than the last.

Bosses are quite challenging and require strategy and mechanics to complete. Enjoy them a lot.

Easy purchase for me without ever playing the first and having a great time, recommended to ARPG fans.

Play on the no time limit option first and when your comfortable with the modules, swap to the timed for more engaging runs.
The art sound and writing is phenomenal.

Honestly try this game, it's a unique twist with a ton of fun and the first game in a while I've been excited to play more of.

In terms of improvements, the AI module is horrendous, VR is also just weird and a waste of time.

The AI module alone made me not want to play, mixed feelings there.

It looks simple and says tiny but has a ton of content.
It allows for a ton of end game builds and doesn't pigeon hole you into a poison build to beat A20

oh yeah the game is fun, just read a bit and use the colorful glowing lines.

It's beautiful, it's breathtaking.
The combat looks like a scripted cutscene sequence with every boss battle.
The difficulty is perfectly set and the slow pacing and introduction of new spells allows for non souls-like players to adapt easily.
It's unbelievably fun, once you understand the spells and the combos, combined with your sparks you find a natural flow state.
