The next best thing to playing DnD in real life.
This game serves as the perfect gateway into pen and paper RPGs.
Larian knocked it out of the park, and managed to create a world filled with characters that will stay in your mind even after you finish the game.

This is a game that you will sink countless hours into, making the value per dollar just incredible.

The charm of this game is huge.
It doesn't matter if you pick it up and only play it for 30 min, or binge it for hours, you'll have a smile on your face the whole time.

Not only is this one of the best rogue like lite games out there (if not the best). But everything about it has a level of polish that you would expect from a AAA game.

Amazing voice acting, soundtrack, and a visual style that makes you fall in love with the characters.

If you don't have this game yet, get it now.

Just cause 2, the ultimate sand box experience.

Just cause 2 is one of those game where you can just ignore the main story line and do whatever the hell you want because it usually ends up being morefun than actually trying to complete the primary quest.

The vastness of the game's island is amazing, as traveling by vehicle while take you quite a bit of time to get from one end of the island to the other.

The story of the game is pretty weak, but it has its funny moments.
Gameplay wise, the controls are pretty tight, but it could use a bigger arsenal (nothing that a few mods can't fix).
Graphically, the game is pretty, not Far cry 3/crysis 3 levels, but it can still leave your jaw on the floor from time to time.

Guacamelee,a metroid-vania game that is short but sweet.

The art style used in the game is drop dead gorgeous,as it is inspired by the mexican holiday "Day of the dead" and it puts all its colors to use.

Gameplay wise the game is as fun as they get, you can combo the hell out of your enemies which is satisfying as all hell. You also have platforming sections that make you want to rip your hair out from time to time, same thing goes for the boss battles.

One major complaint I have about the game is its over use of "memes", while funny in the beggining, it just gets old and cringe worthy after a while.

Other than that, the game is really fun.

Buy it if it is on sale if you need something to kill time with.

Batman Arkham Origins puts you in the shoes of a "rookie" batman, which seems to rely in brute force over outsmarting his opponents like in the other installments of the series.
This is not a bad thing, as you play the game, you can see the evolution of batman from just a "myth" to the feared legend he has always been.

Gameplay wise, the mechanics of the game have been polished completely, and are now better than ever, however, some of the boss fights, while amazing. tend to become repetitive and lack luster once you are halfway done the bosse's health bar.

The series has also recieved a graphic overhaul and looks way better than its brothers do, however, the Physx implementation is terribly done and leaves a lot of desire, as the papers and strings that use this seem to run at a whole different frame rate and look out of place. Another inclusion of physx is the "dynamic" snow in which Batman and his enemies leave footprints/trail in the snow.
However,in some part of the game the use of Physx means you are going to take a HUGE impact in perfromance, even if you have a really beefy computer; and I don't mean just a 10-15 fps drop, no, I mean going from smooth as butter, to as jittery as Jell-O;when I reached that point of the game, I had to turn of Physx to continue playing, because leaving it on would have meant playing at around 15 fps.

Story wise, the game is marvelous, as it expands the background of the Dark Knight in almost a comic/graphic novel like fashion. There are many references/homages that comic fans will love to see being put in the game.

As an Arkham series game, I see why it might not be as well received as the other games,as it bring almost nothing new to the table.
But if you take it as a standalone Batman game, it might be the best one yet, if it makes any sense.

9/10

Computer used to run the game:

i7 4770k
GTX 780
16 GB RAM
etc,etc

Resolution:1080p

Maxed out game settings, had to turn of physx late in the game for reasons explained above.
