The game is short, so it's ok. Oh you might spend more time in other stuff than doing main quest.

GAMEPLAYS:
The mechanics of the battle are good; Setup Arsenal, Squadron Management, Combat Positioning, Terrain Advantage, Heating & Cooldown, etc. You get the ideas. But the flow of battle is just...weird. It's feel unnatural.
I can't compare this to MechCommander due to the nature between RTS and Turn-Based, but compare this to XCOM (or even Shadowrun Return) it still feel crunchy and stiff.

GRAPHICS:
The graphic is mediocre, but this was made from Unity. I actually applaud whoever in charge of graphic engineering. Please consider choose another engine next time, Harebrained Schemes.

CONCLUSION:
It's a good game, although can't really recommend it.

The game is a vast improvement from Endless Space 1 with stunning visual and atmosphere...and that is, there are nothing else. And oh my god, why is the game still so buggy? The cient is crashing 5 out of 7 time if I played/loaded with a game that over 200 turns.

The art is nice, the dungeon is cool, the atmosphere is neat for a rogue-like world setting. But the gameplay is...just a complete miss for me.

Great action game with solid story.

It's mediocre, a little fun with multiplayer but it got boring fast.

Sometime I replay a random mission just for the fun of it.

Used to be fun but a little tediously grinding. But now...now just...

Can't do it solo most of the content due to impossible grinding

Can't do it with matchmaking either, for most of the time I got match-up are Chinese or Russian players. And, also DE with the censoring Mandarin & Russian doesn't help when the global server are just flooding with those players.

Can't communicating even I do understand Mandarin

I really love HOMM series, I really do. But try as hard as I might, this game is just intolerable. The gameplay is repetitive, the characters are boring (seriously the campaign stories are the worst), the AI is broken. And microtransaction in multiplay? Oh and did I mention that some bugs I found 4 years ago are still exist?

Totally a waste of time.
