While I like games like these, just being able to relax and upgrade to further increase your efficiency and productivity, I cannot recommend this game in its current state (I am willing to change my review when this issue is addressed and fixed).
I am not sure whether it was the most recent update or if this has been going on for a while. I remember playing a pirated copy months ago and the game worked fine.

I wanted to see if I'd enjoy the game and I did, so I decided to buy it recently.

The problem I'm having are constant crashes back to my desktop whenever I am in the station. It doesn't matter which menu I am in, it just randomly decides to crash over and over to the point where I cannot decide which upgrades I want for my ship as it crashes within 1 minute or less.
The game simply closes back to my desktop, it doesn't say anything at all that it crashed or something. Just closes.

Yes. The newest update has fixed this issue. There's nothing to complain about really. The game is perfectly playable now and does what it is supposed to do and advertise.

Apart from a suggestion to be able to turn off combat due to some random combat encounters you cannot get away from or even see coming only to have your ship destroyed, loosing half an hour or so of relaxing mining- I think the game is pretty good. It's certainly unique.

An abitious project. Will wait for further updates but what I've played so far is very promising. I can't help but create depressurization events all the time, seeing how else the ship will blow outward.

Beautiful Game

Right now in it's state it's unplayable. I cannot get past the ship editor (very beginning) as it says an item is missing in the engine room yet it never shows what or why. I found no fix to this.

Broken game. Wait for fix or just don't buy

As much as I like this new DLC for having a new bomber, more crew and overall stronger weaponry once you have your bomber fully equipped, I cannot recommend this if you easily get frustrated.

Yes, you need to have a certain strategy and skill to complete difficult missions but it becomes random chance if you win a mission or not, and this is not about skill or strategy.

I am talking about the landing gear. God awful. Not only are the wheels more exposed and easier shot off than from the previous bomber in the standard version of the game, you cannot emergency land with one or even no wheels.
Pardon me, you can. But like I said above, it is random chance. Most of the time what happens is that you flop onto the landing strip and the plane stops in place, flipping over and killing all or most of the crew in the process as well as destroying the bomber or your plane just straight up explodes. Oooor if you do a one wheel landing, the plane tilts and half of the wing breaks off and then WOAH, the plane flies all over the place.

Why isn't it possible to land this plane just like the previous one with one or no wheels, I don't get it,

The only way to raise your chance is dropping ALL of the bombs before you land and if you do a one wheel landing (this might only be a thing, not sure), transfer all of the fuel to the side that still has the wheel.

This has become increasingly frustrating, every time a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ wheel breaks off in the middle of the mission masking you debate if you should restart to save time or continue and test your luck.

Why can't there be a damn upgrade for the wheels, like I don't know, have armor over them but it takes longer for the landing gear to come out, something like that.

I'll be happy to recommend this if this gets fixed because I do enjoy everything else, but the frustration just builds over this massive problem

I've been playing this game for a few hours now and fell in love with it the moment I started playing it, the game has a very unique concept, one I've never really seen before. Sure the game is a BIT repetitive over a couple of stages but they did a great job making the scenarios different each time.
It's a really good early access game with that price tag in my opinion

I'd recommend it if you loved Plague inc. Evolved or just like these type of games

Fun game. Especially with the mods the community creates. You can come up with some crazy ♥♥♥♥ to simulate a colony.
