I just picked up the game as an adult (had it since I was 13) and played the story again and I must say I found Sandmans death incredibly devastating :(

It's a very hardcore RPG, no quest markers - you have to ask for directions and read your journal, dialogues are not voiced, you have to read those too. Also the movement is prety slow and travelling takes longer compared to later TES games.

But if you are willing to overcome these things you will absolutely love this old school rpg. The world is absolutely stunning and the atmosphere is great, you will really feel like a true adveturer with all the exploring you have to do on your own (as I said no quest marks :D). Really recommend to anyone who wants to try different kind of challenge and believe me, that it's really easy to get into it and enjoy it (if you don't hate reading at least).

Tahle hra příliš dobrá není, má svoje kvality a pár dobrých nápadů, ale level design, gunplay, movement a celkové grafické provedení je tragédie. Level design je otřesný protože jsou levely nezajímavé a kolikrát není dost coveru. Gunplay je ♥♥♥♥ protože jsou zbraně nepřesné a hrozně slabé (hlavně na vyšší obtížnost). K movementu - ani nevím k čemu bych to přirovnal, je to takové neohrabané a nejhorší je to při parkurových pasážích kterých tam pár je. A grafika by možná byla koukatelná, kdyby celá hra nebyla tak šedivá a depresivní a nudná. To jsou jen ty největší nevýhody, je jich víc například hlavní postava, všechny vedlejší postavy, boss fighty no randál toho je :D. Ale jo je to asi hratelný, kdybych nehrál lepší střílečky než je tahle možná by mě to bavilo víc.

Pokud jste se jako já narodili v roce 2002 nebo později, můžu vám skoro se 100% jistotou říci, že tato hra vás bavit nebude. Extrémě zastaralá grafika je něco, co by šlo v klidu překousnout, avšak hratelnost je na dnešní dobu prostě špatná a pravděpodobně ani nepochopíte, co máte dělat, ani jak se to sakra ovládá.

Nicméně velký plus za to jak tato steam verze běží, nepotřebujete to nijak opravovat prostě stáhnete a pustíte bez problémů (což mě nutí si říkat - bylo by tak těžký opravit Fallout 3 a New Vegas když zvládli rozjet tohle? :D) a další plus za to, že je to zdarma, ale tím bych asi skončil.

Hra je super ale není to bohužel nic pro samotáře. Kampaň nic moc takže pokud nechcete hrát RP s ostatními hráči asi vám to na moc dlouho nevydrží. Trošku sad jsem z toho no :(((((((((((

Hra mého dětství, možná i první pořádná hra, kterou jsem hrál :D. Jen škoda že dabing tam není v základu ale naštěstí se dá stáhnout.

So I finished the game 3 times. Twice in singleplayer and once in coop with friend.

If I had to give my thoughts on the story, I would say it's pretty damn pathetic. I mean the villains cry all the time about how unfair the world has been toward them, but it's all just talk no show. Like if you are planning to do a story like this, maybe make us feel the character? For example Jacob - he literally ate his friend to survive, but we get no cutscenes of showing us how it happened. Instead you just sit in a cage and stare at him while he tells you about it - boring and uncreative. I mean if you wanna give us sob stories at least do it properly and make us sob ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. The fact that main character doesn't talk is the final nail in the coffin, there are games with silent protagonist but this should not be one of them.

The gameplay however is somewhere else. The map is superb and looks astonishingly good, you can hunt, fish, skydive, hike and explore - I don't have any bad things to say about that, maybe only the fact that camps are way to easy in comarison with fc3 and 4 but maybe I just got better over the years :D

I give 6/10 but I don't recommend anyways because the story is too cringe

I'm so glad that all the previous mgs are on steam so I can fully experience and understand the story.

I do not recommend since it's really ugly and boring. Not talking about the last mission which I nearly gave up on.
If you want to play just cause go for the sequels I can asure you that you won't miss anything.
