False advertising with the J-League not being fully licensed at launch, and then SI changing their marketing material *after* people noticed.

As the Football Manager series continues to innovate at a pace slower than geysers moving, I can only recommend this game if you don't own a recent instalment of the franchise. If you last played FM 2009, maybe it's time to upgrade. FM 17? Just find a one of the numerous updated databases released by the community and you'll have mostly the same features.

However, purely from a football managing standpoint, the game is a lot of fun. It's super detailed, even having to go so far as pondering how to change your tactic to best accommodate the altitude of where the match is being played, so you'll always have something to consider.

Rockets, cars, and football. What more do you need?

You drive trucks on roads. 10/10

Actually, this game is weirdly relaxing. If I am stressed, I just plug in my G27 and off I go. I have previously played this game for a day while thinking I had driven for an hour or so, but that's because the scenery the roads are just mesmerizing. And when you aren't in a trance, SCS also added an actual game beside the driving, so there is some purpose to the driving. You want a big mothertrucker of a truck? Then get driving, level and save up!

The mods that you can get for this game can sometimes be as great as the game itself. Scandinavia, South Africa, 60 ton trailer and a truck with 10 wheels? You bet!
