this game is like enlisted crossed with warthunder crossed with foxhole: realistic infantry, tank, airplane, and boat combat in a MMOFPS in a persistent world!all other games wish they could compete with it. its only let down by dated graphics and ancient pay per month subscription scheme

XCOM 2 is like the perfect sequel. even without all the changes to gameplay and new content, the fact that XCOM 2 added immense modding support and the fact that xcom 2 maintains a GREAT modding community with tons and tons of mods and even mods that make making mods easier and more capable means XCOM 2 is a game for anyone, and the fact it came from a game with originally very little mod support, just shows that firaxis was on point with reading their community and what they wanted. LWOTC mod jam is dangerously based.

For those who have trouble with the new launcher and mod support, just use AML for XCOM 2 and it works.

this game is like mount n blade warband but turn-BASED! it has both a lot of depth to its gameplay mechanics AND a very detailed worldmap with depth aswell.
