It's Persona for people with fantasy boners and without an annoying ass animal mascot character (the animal mascot character in this game is peak). If you like Persona and feel like playing a Persona game without Japanese high schoolers this is for you. If you like fantasy JRPGs with incredible character writing, a deep, storied world, and fascinating political and ideological discussions on the merits of power versus intellect in overcoming societal injustices and racial barriers this is for you. Also the combat, music, and voice acting is great but as this is an Atlus game that all comes standard

Absolutely incredible Lovecraftian/CRPG experience. As an avid fan of the cosmic horror genre I've never played anything like this; the writing is incredible, the world is endlessly interesting, the strategic combat and gameplay were endlessly enthralling, the music and art and everything about this game is just absolutely incredible. Also: when I found myself stuck with a potentially game-breaking bug, the dev personally responded to assist me. Support this amazing game, this amazing dev, and allow us to get more, SO MUCH MORE of this incredibly enthralling, endlessly creative world; I need so much more of this injected directly into my veins. I absolutely adore this game in every capacity and I hope, genuinely, I hope the dev knows how much joy he has brought to fans of this game. Anders Lauridsen; if you're reading this, I genuinely, truly and absolutely, 100% believe you to be a genius, and I will be EAGERLY AND EXCITEDLY awaiting whatever project you work on next. You've got a fan for life with this one.

One of the single greatest gaming experiences I have ever had, aside from some incredibly annoying sections of course.

One of the best and truest Lovecraftian experiences on PC. Incredible story, music, and atmosphere. The gameplay loop of fishing and upgrading your boat to hold more fish is surprisingly addicting. And when you're not being chased sailing is actually quite relaxing. Incredible game, great experience, easy recommend.

Legitimately incredible game. Fascinating story, great music and art style, interesting and likable characters. However the game is a tad too long and the battles can get a bit repetitive. Made me cry tho
