The future is Linux, but Activision is stuck in the past.

It is 2025. Between the Steam Deck, the new Steam Machines, and the massive growth of SteamOS, there is no excuse for a AAA title to block an entire ecosystem. The game requires "always-online" connectivity even for the campaign, yet Ricochet Anti-Cheat remains a hard wall for Linux users.

To the developers: Enable Proton support for Ricochet. Other major studios have done it. Until you do, you’re leaving money on the table and ignoring the most innovative space in PC gaming.

Status: Unplayable on Linux/SteamOS.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is the spiritual successor to Final Fantasy X that we’ve been waiting for. It flawlessly modernizes the turn-based timeline by adding a reactive parry and dodge system, making every fight a thrilling challenge. The story is emotionally resonant, the world is stunning, and characters like Maelle are phenomenal, evolving into high-speed, powerful destroyers. If you want a deep, modernized JRPG, this is it.

Plays great! 4K high settings 57-60 FPS with an RX6800XT. Will update once the game is finished.

This has absolutely blew me away, and a huge part of that is how the idTech engine handles everything. It’s a huge step up from Unreal Engine in terms of performance smooth gameplay, no stuttering, and incredibly fast load times. The environments are beautifully detailed, and the physics and lighting feel incredibly dynamic. It honestly feels like a first person Uncharted game, with all the thrilling exploration, puzzle-solving, and epic action sequences you’d expect from an Indy adventure. The game nails that immersive experience. Highly recommend!

The gameplay’s tight. I mean, sneaking around infected and hunters with just a brick to throw? Still terrifying. But it’s way smoother now everything just works better. And the sounds? Don’t even get me started on the clickers. You’ll seriously feel them creeping up on you. If you’ve played the original, you already know, but this remake makes it even better. And if you’re new to it? Well, lucky you. You get to experience it all in the best way possible. Trust me, you won’t forget it.

Vampire Survivors is like if you took a chainsaw, slapped some holy water on it, and went to town on a whole mess of vampires and monsters – no fancy controls or highfalutin’ story, just pure chaos. You start out easy, walkin' around with your simple little weapons, but before you know it, the screen’s packed with critters comin’ at you faster than a bull on a hot day. You keep leveling up, unlockin’ crazier stuff like axes, whips, and guns, and it’s like shootin' fish in a barrel… if the fish were zombies and you had a flamethrower. It’s wild, addictive, and best of all, you don’t need to know nothin' about video games to have a good time. If you want a game that’s pure fun with a side of ridiculous, Vampire Survivors is the real deal.

This works great with up-scaling games with FSR, but you need to try LS1!

Early Access Review
Selaco hits all the right notes for me as a fan of 90s gaming classics. It perfectly captures the essence of games like Doom and Duke Nukem 3D but with a fresh twist that keeps it exciting. The pixel art is spot-on, transporting me back to the days of retro gaming bliss, while the gameplay strikes a perfect balance of challenge and smooth controls. And that soundtrack! Filled with 90s synth vibes, it creates an immersive atmosphere whether I'm exploring new areas or facing off against tough foes. Whether you're a seasoned retro gamer or just discovering the genre, Selaco is a must-play that pays homage to gaming history while feeling right at home in today's gaming landscape. It's more than nostalgia—it's an essential experience you won't want to miss!
