Early Access Review
This game had so much potential. Played it at launch, crazy fun times with friends but definitely a lack of content (early access, I get it) so my friends & I waited.... and waited.... and now it's basically dead.

Rest well old friend.

Shroud plays more Deadlock / Throne & Liberty than this, "his" game I think that summarizes the state of the game currently

As many have said in previous comments/reviews, this dev does NOT care about player feedback, especially from players who would dare say anything against his game.

v.1.0.9 has totally ruined the game and is an absolute CHORE. Too many nerfs to sets/builds which makes the game extremely monotone and after 5-6 runs you'll realize there is absolutely NO depth to it anymore.

Until he/she/it listens and does the appropriate changes to make the game enjoyable again, I just can't recommend this in it's current state.

Disappointing really.

Notice my hours, first ever Final Fantasy game I've played for over an hour. Never been a huge lore/story fanboy in terms of MMORPGs.
Went through A Realm Reborn (ARR), slow paced story, but not a bad thing since it introduces a good core and main cast of characters to the rest of the story/expansions.
Next was Heavensward (HW), absolutely loved the scenery in all the new zones you discover. Sky Moogles, insanely cool environment and landscapes to explore, very emotional story, with introductions to some great characters that play big roles in the rest of the story.
Following that was Stormblood (SB), great expansion in terms of making you realize how vast the world which Eorzea is in, making you understand how big your "planet" is. Beautiful scenery in a heavily Japanese themed landscape. Again, great character development for the ones you already are aware of, and the character building for new/old characters is amazing, introduction of big bad boi, approved.
Finally, Shadowbringers (ShB), latest expansion to date, with a huge change of direction in terms of how the story is told, story as a whole. Consistent and logical with the previous expansions/story telling and yet they manage to give a whole different feel and atmosphere. Needless to say, incredible so far, concluding different "storylines" in a brilliant way, as well as leaving you hungry for more.

AS I SAID, I've never been a huge Story-Driven based game fan, and I have to say, as soon as I started taking more time to appreciate the story-telling and got to know the different origins/backgrounds of each character linked to the Main-Story Quest (MSQ), I continued to devour the MSQ with great interest.

In terms of content, I've always been a big PvP fan in MMOs, though I've done my fair share of PvE.

-PvP:
Clearly the developers didn't put nearly as much effort into the PvP side of the game as they did the PvE. Limited amount of spells, which I don't particularly care for, but it just makes the PvP very clunky in the Battlefield type game mode(24v24v24) where it's very hectic. Literally no 1v1 possibilities or outplay possibilities (I might just be very bad), whilst it's a huge change of pace in the Arena style game mode where it's 4v4 with 1Tank/1Healer/2DPS.

+PvE: This is one of the aspects of the game that I believe makes it truly shine compared to other popular MMORPGs. It's like all the main Dungeons, Trials, Raids you need to do when going further into the MSQ is like a base tutorial of the numerous and diverse mechanics that are present within the end-game content.
I've had so much fun learning/dying (mostly dying) of the variety of possible mechanics a boss might have, and that's just in Normal Mode for most cases. The magical experience I've had so far just discovering new bosses and what you're supposed to do in each phase has been a roller coaster of ups and downs and just pure fun.

TLDR:
-Great story driven game in terms of the lore (PAY ATTENTION IT IS SERIOUSLY GOOD)
-Not much content in terms of PvP, but you can spend a lot of hours learning how to git gud in the 4v4 Arena Mode.
-PvE content is abundant and clearly one of the main focuses of the game, great mechanics to learn, very fun bosses, just as there are tedious ones.
-Overall gameplay, might be slow paced in the beginning, but a good way to slowly but surely teach you the basics of each Class/Role you might want to fulfill
-ONE CHARACTER = ALL CLASSES/JOBS which personally I hate having to reroll to try a new class.
-Variety of classes is great, numerous classes for a specific role (DPS/TANK/HEAL) but with a very distinct identity between each one, which allows you to have a wide range of playstyles.

CONCLUSION Highly recommend you give this game a try, the Free Trial Version goes all the way to the first expansion (Heavensward/HW) which is lvl60, without having to pay a cent, whilst also giving you the possibility to upgrade to a Full Version with 1st Month Free ! If you've got no life, no desire to go into the outside world, give it a try :D

SIMPLIFIED OPINIONS/DETAILS

+ Chess with cards basically.
+ Beautiful artwork designed in a 8Bit style
+ A lot of choices in deck creation/gameplay
+ Not required to have good cards to make good decks

- No "Normal" Mode
- Just like any other card game, very strong units can make or break a duel

CONCLUSION: Very addictive game with a friendly community.

Decided to take a break and am close to stopping due to the fact that there's too much randomness to the character progression.

Raids are far too easy, only challenge is if you're lucky enough to get a good drop.

Hundreds upon hundreds of Gold/Mesos Seller Bots, which also affects BM(Black Market/Auction House).

Overall had fun in the beginning, but it's just way too boring and monotone now.

Early Access Review
+PROS:
+Better optimization than PUBG
+Better movement fluidity than PUBG (vaulting, ladders)
+Better mobility concept than PUBG (cars PLUS Glider/Snowboard/PickAxe)
+Better weapon/combat mechanics than PUBG in my opinion (e.g interchangeable scopes+3 Weapon slots instead of 2)
+Better recoil physics than PUBG in my opinion (e.g less "realistic" and more of a BO4/PUBG mix)
+Better End-Game objectif other than last one standing, helicopter forces people to go for the big plays/rushes

-CONS:
-Can't manually peek, must use integrated "auto-peek" system
-Can't shoot whilst snowboarding
-Textures are very "rigid" and "linear" very noticeable whilst driving a vehicule and it affects gameplay
-Heavy De-Syncing during spectating

TL;DR
8.5/10 the baby of H1Z1+BO4+PUBG but absolutely FREE and A LOT funner
