Just when I was starting to get that itch to play WoW or RS again despite having to pay to experience them, I have been blessed with this gem. Thank you, and Godspeed.

Fun game, great concept. Devs; just keep updating, keep updating, update, update, update. Give players who feel like they've seen all this game has to offer already more reasons to come back and play after a year or two. More pals, more regions to explore, more items, tougher bosses, new mechanics, this game has a lot of potential and so far I think they've done a good job of doing that which looks promising.

I have two major complaints: We need to make it possible to transfer pals from one server to another guys.. And please for the love of God fix the bug where Jormuntide defies the laws of physics.

If those two things were resolved it would be a 10/10 for me.

Obligatory 100 Hour Review

Let me take you back to when battle royales took the industry by storm. H1Z1, PUBG, Fortnite, Apex, Warzone. Society could not get enough of them and developers were shoving this game mode down the throats of consumers to the point where it's pretty much essential if you want to release a successful online shooter in the modern era.

But I can't be the only one who thought, "Wow I sure wish someone would develop a QUALITY *cough cough* Spellbreak *cough* battle royale that has medieval/fantasy combat instead, that would be so awesome, it would be like Hunger Games."

That is exactly what we have here and I am loving every second of it.

Some things I enjoy about video games in general that Dark and Darker absolutely nails:
well-balanced PvP, intricate combat system, rewards skillful/competitive play, encourages careful planning/decision making, inventory management, perilous journeys, rewarding loot/rare drops, big scary bosses, player driven economy (shoutout to the Grand Exchange)

And can I just say that the use of generic fantasy classes as opposed to having to pick from a selection of whacky eccentric characters feels like a breath of fresh air?

GG!

Arguably the greatest video game experience of all time. I played Oblivion for about a year or two before Skyrim came out and I was totally addicted to it. So I fell in love with Skyrim the moment I walked into Gamestop and saw that a new Elder Scrolls game was coming out. And much like my take on the Legend of Zelda and Souls franchises, this is what a video game ought to be. What more can I say? It's a masterpiece!

FromSoftware's magnum opus. If you thought the Souls games that came before Elden Ring were glorious and challenging already, then this game is essentially FromSoftware telling you, "Those were just the battles, now get ready for ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ WAR." Elden Ring is everything a video game OUGHT to be, it is a monument of how far video games have come since The Legend of Zelda on NES, it deserves to be respected and cherished. Easy GOTY, no, GOAT candidate.

I guess I'll start by saying I am as OG as it gets as a Halo player. I played hours of Halo: Combat Evolved on my Dell PC with the enormous fat monitor that weighed a million pounds as a kid. I can recall fond memories of playing Halo: 2 at my cousin's house. I remember getting my Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Edition Xbox 360 for Christmas along with the copy of Halo 3 that I played for hours on end. And I can honestly say that these games never cease to amaze me still to this day, they have undoubtedly withstood the test of time, and have aged more gracefully than most titles could ever hope to. As soon as you think you've seen all these games have to offer, you witness some ridiculous chain of events that defies all logic and physics and you just sit there in absolute shock and awe thinking to yourself, "I don't know what just happened, but it was ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ epic." And to top it all off, you have free battle passes being added with fresh new rewards to earn and challenges to complete that add variety, meaning, and a broader sense of achievement to your game play experience. To me, Halo is the undisputed King of Video Games.

The ideal casual game for deranged narcissists like myself. This game skips all the bs and just drops you in there like "You are now God. Have fun kiddo." Graphics are simple yet vibrant, sharp, meticulous, and overall appealing. As far as performance, I had no trouble whatsoever with a 1060 even on the largest map size, heavily populated, and an unnecessary amount of explosions. Reminds me of the good old flash game days. Huge potential for amazing updates and DLC. I feel like Gordon Ramsay when he actually enjoys a dish. "Finally, a good ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game" 10/10
