Megabonk + Steam Deck = perfection

Excellent world, story, and combat. An RPG that respects your time. Drova tells it's story, has some fun side quests (some optional quests will drastically change your ending), but it doesn't overstay it's welcome. As someone who abandons most RPGs with 100+ hr main stories, Drova is perfectly paced. And very fun.

Easy Red 2 is one the best WW2 games I have ever played. It's not as flashy as some of the other games out there, like Hell Let Loose, but it truly is a labor of love by the developers. There are constant updates to refine the models, animations, and AI. There are a huge number of maps with an absolutely staggering amount of weapons and vehicles to use.

My only warning this: This is a singleplayer game. The multiplayer, as of this review, is pretty nonexistent. Although the devs are updating it just as much as everything else.

No time to review. Gotta play more Balatro.

Update: Still great. Fantastic on the Steam Deck.

One of the best roguelike FPS out there.

Boars are the real final boss.

A fun, challenging platformer that takes elements from the classics. Such as spin attacks like Crash, Rail grinds like Sonic and jumping puzzles like Mario. It's short. But there's decent replay value. There are 3 characters to play with (after beating the game once). Each character changes it up a little to keep it interesting. You can't go wrong for $5. Also, it runs very well on the steam Deck.

Top tier game in the vein of Vampire Survivors (Survivors-like?). It heavily borrows from VS in many ways, but has some of it's own unique mechanics too. I particularly like being able to swap between manual and auto aiming (You'll want to manually aim for bosses). That being said, this game is not as mindless as VS and is not a one handed game like VS. You will need to strategically stop firing to dodge around enemies. The music is also pretty good.

My only true negative opinion is that the game needs better balance. Some character and weapon combinations are way too powerful. But, as it is in early access, I'm not going judge it too harshly. And even with the more powerful combos, I still find that it's a challenge on the higher difficulties.

Even in early access, it's well worth the $4.99 if you like this kind of game.

I've been waiting for months to post a review here for this game. This game is one of the most refreshing indie titles I have seen in years. It has a unique overall mechanic that has a variety of fun and interesting approaches to it. The characters and world are really cute (Resulting in some great fan art). The community is great and ever positive. And lastly The music really bops! The music might be my favorite part!

This game has a nice balance of afk gains with bursts of activity that you can do at your own pace. It also has a nice sense of progression at a steady, satisfying pace. There's a huge variety of skills and things to work toward. I also like the sense of humor. It doesn't take it self seriously at all.

Be warned, It has it's roots in mobile gaming and so there are micro transactions. However the currency used (gems) are also given as quest rewards pretty regularly. Some game features that I would consider necessary are purchased in the shop, such as the ability to auto pick up loot while actively playing (You do get loot while afk without the ability).
