Rust is fun, enjoyable, and an easy-to-sink many hours into game without getting bored. Optimisation is not perfect but neither is it bad. I am not really allowed to complain about it since my specs are not that great either(RX 460 2 GB, Ryzen 3 1200, 8 GB DDR4 3066 MHz). It's toxic comunity is like no other, being awkwardly funny at times, and giving you a rage at others. Being crossbowed to the face as a naked and yelling for mercy, but only recieveing a lifeless shut the f*ck up can give you a good laugh. If you however dont get crossbowed to the face immediately and make some progress, losing all that you achieved will get you real salty.
The developers listen to the commuity. The changes they made show their attention to the subreddit, the forums etc.
The reason for this review being negative is because the game keeps ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ crashing beyond acception. Not while playing, those are only 20 seconds freezzes wich may get you killed. When does the game crah then? Let me tell you.
Wanna use the exit game button? No. It will crash.
Wanna cancel the loading screen using the dedicated cancel button? No. It will crash 90%.
Wanna click anywhere on the screen while the game is loading? No. It will crash 100% of the time.
Wanna change the f*ucking audio option from stereo to headphones? No. It will crash 100%.
Wanna change graphics settings while in game? Please no. It will crash 50% of the time.
Wanna click anywhere on the screen while graphics settings are being loaded? No. It will crash 100%.
It's not that easy to just wait and not click because loading times are very very big and you allways feel like having to check if it crashed.
I am sorry but the way this games loads it's stuff is bad. Real bad.
