-Language based matchmaking does not work at all. I have 2 selected languages, Russian is not among them, yet every East or West EU games starts with Russian language. I do not have 5000+ MMR so finding a match with people who choose appropriate language should not be a problem. Reports do not work at all, neither for folks refusing to use international language (which is clearly a result of not working language based matchmaking) nor for people directly calling you subhuman or wishing you death because of your nationality.

How can I, as a Ukrainian, watch these people comment the game I like? How am I supposed to enjoy the largest cybersport tournament in the world, which I have been looking up to all year, when the official translation has people who do not want me to be alive? The lack of solid stance from Valve on the issue is really disappointing and infuriating. This is not OK.
-The latest Battle Pass lacks creativity, every immortal item from 2015 - 2016 was a real cool one, now I do not care about half of them. Not to mention 2! chests which contain very basic sets, which really act as just a filler reward in battle pass. Paying every year for the same chat wheel phrases is not cool either. During the last few battle passes had bought hundreds of levels, in the newest one the only rewards I want are the taunts, which is ridiculous.

I like Dota, it is a real fun game. The third issue prevents me from donating to battle pass (with this attitude you are not beating your previous TI rewards you know). The first 2 prevent me from playing the game, sorry. Only a person with no dignity can ignore that.
