Go play Marvel Rivals.

The Good:
-Nonstop chaos and cinematic moments with friends/randoms(VoIP & text chat).
-Great Graphics.
-You can buy the premium pass with credits found in game.
-Global stats and progress bars on all missions and planets.
-Daily challenges/boosts that significantly progress your character, regular pass & premium pass.
-Seems like it has a great community so far.
-Responsive dev team with frequent patches/updates.
-Game-play and audio design is absolutely phenomenal.

The Bad:
-The only things locked by a paywall are cosmetics and a weapon you get from buying the deluxe edition of the game(not necessarily bad, support the devs, but some may think otherwise). It's also important to mention the weapon you receive won't change game-play or survivability whatsoever.
-Intermittent crashes/disconnects, but they've been continuously fixing this issue quickly and crashes have significantly lessened.
-Even though there is plenty to sink your teeth in to right now it could use some more content down the line. However, the devs have confirmed much more is coming soon and already released a new Autamoton sector yesterday.

Final Score:
8.5/10

Devs, 10/10, gameplay 10/10, content 10/10. Buy it.

I have ptsd from this game. Air strikes were raining down from above and then suddenly I looked over to see my buddies head get shot off and roll away while we were crawling through the fields to go cap a sector. 10/10 would recommend.

Was a good game until the most recent update. Decided to finally hop on the fortnite bandwagon i see. Making it free to play could have possibly been their worst decision ever. Way to make your community feel left out. And to try and compensate they gave you a Veterans member badge which means jack, a "Special crate" which you received for being a valued player, only thing is you still gotta pay for it to open it, and to top it off a mediocre graffiti spray. Such a low blow. Hopefully your new 6 year old fortnite bandwagon community serves you well.
Updated Comment Review: Years later I came back to say Im glad the battle royale flopped so hard. Game is still just as addicting as before. Someone help me, the crates are calling.
