I miss playing with all of you
One thing to keep in mind is that the malicious ad seems to be sent out less than 1% of the time. It's a very small number of people who are going to get hit by the ad, and an even smaller number of people who are going to blindly run the applet required for the exploit to work.
We know it's happening, though. We're still considering other options, but right now all we can do is bite the bullet and keep running the way we are until we can find something better.
We're considering switching back to Pinion, but people were complaining about waiting to play. There was also an issue with Pinion ads causing Flash to crash and kill TF2. I think Pinion fixed that issue, but that was another reason for us switching away from Pinion
