Barbie™ Dreamhouse Party™ isn't so much a video game as it is a brilliant painting by an artist, or a secret recipe from a world famous chef - it's a masterpiece of a video game that, like the painting and the recipe, will not be recognized until the creator is long gone. When the Barbie franchise eventually succumbs and their dolls and toys are no longer produced, we'll always have this game as a monument of years where Barbie has not only survived, but thrived... an ancient artifact to stand the test of time in a world where countless video games are produced in the blink of an eye - not leaving but a single footprint to indicate its presence in its industry.

I don't often review video games, and I'm not much of a critic - but this is one of the very few modern video games that was just done right. Video game developers can write all the bullshit about their new development engines and revamped graphics, but Barbie™ Dreamhouse Party™ will never have fallen victim to the seemingly endless plague of the "Graphics = Quality" concept that even several Nintendo games have succumb to.

I hope that in my afterlife, I can see this game be relished and even paraded for its combination of sheer simplicity and entertainment for all. Truly a game that has a replay value that cannot ever be deminished.
