Endless armies of Quazi nodes march tirelessly to guard its blacing neon algorithmic core from the legions of pseudo-cryptic bytes and their lasers.

I'm hoping to breathe some new life into the Trakulan Federation. Its been nearly impossible over the past few years to get everyone together for LAN parties as frequently as we used to. We have demanding jobs, school, family responsibilities, and so on. Even so, I miss the camaraderie of hanging out over cheap pizza, caffeine, and computer games.

Here's the plan, and I'd like to know what everyone thinks:

Once per month, we schedule an evening for an online LAN party
Once per year, we try to setup an actual in-person LAN party in the SLC area
Once per year, we try and go to a midnight movie premier

I totally redesigned the website and promise to try and keep it up to date this time.

I'll also be sending out a monthly events/newsletter email with details on upcoming WAN and LAN parties, games, etc. Feel free to invite other friends who would make good members of the Trakulan Federation. The only requirement is that you should know them in real-life etc.

In terms of upcoming events, I'll be sending an email later this week with more details. The emails will be coming from [email protected], so add it to your safe-senders list.
