Among Us has servers in different parts of the world. If we all set to North America, that's most likely to be best for the largest number of people? The setting is in the bottom right of the Online screen.

If you don't know how to play and want to practise with no stress, there is a Freeplay option. When in the game, use the laptop to turn on tasks to practise, practise being an imposter etc.
