One of the original devs got sick of the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and forked the source code, renaming it back to Stalker Online. He started his own server and has been patching the game and pushing out improvements. Things have improved significantly; most notably that pay2win has been removed, there are 4 ways to squat, there's a hunger mechanic, and there are some optimizations.
