Hello, fellow bringers of terror!

It's been a while! I (Eccid) have been all but gone for the past 5 years (4 years since my last announcement in this group). A mixture of moving 3-4 times, starting a new career, and personal/financial issues, made it very difficult to keep up with and run a community.

On top of that, my relationship with gaming was in-flux for quite a while, as I decided how much time, if any, I wanted to spend on video games. I did some console gaming for a while (what a dirty pleb) and recently have been getting back into the good ol' PC gaming world.


So now you're asking "What does this mean for the future of TTN?"

Answer: "Idunno"


Running a community, even a small one, is a full-time job. Even with the wonderful admins I had before TTN went the way of the Dodo, it was an incredibly time-consuming job with pretty much no payment outside of the fun I had playing with you guys. While I very much enjoyed my time spent with all of you, it wasn't something I could continue to support financially, nor something I could continue to maintain alone.

If you visit theterrornetwork.com you'll most likely receive an error. There's currently no active site, though I still own (and most likely always will) the domain, I currently have no site pointed to it. I do not have any plans of creating a new site at the moment, but if you guys show enough interest in having a message board again, I can add that to the plan for 2020/21.

For now, I (Eccid) am back online. I've been working on a better balance of personal life both online/offline, and have been back on the PC scene for a few months now. I miss you guys, if you see me online and want to play something, send me a message. As long as I haven't made plans I'd love to join you.
