What is up fellow agents of terror?

I've had a Minecraft server that up until recently was just for private play with myself and my brother. We destroyed the modpack we were playing and decided to make the next one something more open that I could invite people to. Which is what I did.

My server is running Omnifactory, a very tech-heavy modpack with an extensive quest line. It should have plenty of things to keep you busy for quite a while.

Hello, fellow bringers of terror!

It's been a while! I (Eccid) have been all but gone for the past 5 years (4 years since my last announcement in this group). A mixture of moving 3-4 times, starting a new career, and personal/financial issues, made it very difficult to keep up with and run a community.

On top of that, my relationship with gaming was in-flux for quite a while, as I decided how much time, if any, I wanted to spend on video games. I did some console gaming for a while (what a dirty pleb) and recently have been getting back into the good ol' PC gaming world.


So now you're asking "What does this mean for the future of TTN?"

Answer: "Idunno"


Running a community, even a small one, is a full-time job. Even with the wonderful admins I had before TTN went the way of the Dodo, it was an incredibly time-consuming job with pretty much no payment outside of the fun I had playing with you guys. While I very much enjoyed my time spent with all of you, it wasn't something I could continue to support financially, nor something I could continue to maintain alone.

If you visit theterrornetwork.com you'll most likely receive an error. There's currently no active site, though I still own (and most likely always will) the domain, I currently have no site pointed to it. I do not have any plans of creating a new site at the moment, but if you guys show enough interest in having a message board again, I can add that to the plan for 2020/21.

For now, I (Eccid) am back online. I've been working on a better balance of personal life both online/offline, and have been back on the PC scene for a few months now. I miss you guys, if you see me online and want to play something, send me a message. As long as I haven't made plans I'd love to join you.

Hello, everybody! TTN has been very quiet lately, because not much has been happening. I'm currently in the process of redoing the old website entirely, and launching it again soon. I would be greatly appreciative if our TTN members would sign up and start posting to the new site when it's launched, and see if we can't get the community going again.

Future plans for TTN are hazy, but I'd like to try and get interest in the community going again. I'll make another announcement on the day of release, so everybody get ready for it. Invite your friends and family, and let's see if we can get the new website a good place for people to hang out. Then, we can go from there.
