Custom Theaters for Insurgency: 2014

➜ ABOUT THE ARMORY

The Armory modification is a series of custom checkpoint theaters developed for Insurgency: 2014; each offering something different when it comes to their features.

The early version of the theater released in late 2015, simply named The Armory, offered basic features such as an unrestricted weapon selection, along with their upgrades unlocked. Since then theaters have come to include not only all the basics, but whole new game-play themes, custom weapons, weapon upgrades, features and support for server plugins.

@Slack - Which server is it specifically? Because none of The Armory servers or the web server it sources the few FastDL maps for are in .bz2 format. You are running Linux from what I understand, now I have never ran it before, so I might be totally wrong saying this; but I believe you have to be manually subscribed to each modification and map the server runs. If this is true, you can simply subscribe to all the maps from this collection .

Is there a possibility that bz2 files are not used on "The Armory" or "35 angry bots" servers? 10 years ago maybe it made sense to use that compression because of the bandwidth, but I think everything has evolved quite a bit when there are now servers that are offered with 1 GB download to play. Maybe there are few of us players with linux clients, but I think it's unnecessary to stay on the sidelines. And if there is any way to enable anything to be able to play with bz2, please, I will be pleased to hear it.

I can't get the mod to work, I think my main problem is the theater setup.
Do you think we could have a quick talk on Teamspeak/discord so you'd be able to help me?

@Brewtis - What is the name of the server you are trying to join? Because I do not believe I have created any 14 person theaters myself. If you let me know the name of the server, I can help pinpoint which workshop subscription you need to be subscribed to.

this server is enforcing consistency for this file Scripts/theater/theater35angrybots14p_v2
How does someone fix this. haven't played in awhile and now I can't get on my favorite servers.
