Sorry for the down-time lately. Ever since 1.0.4, the custom server software has not worked correctly, and new ones have failed to deliver exactly what is required for this game-mode. But with 1.0.5 just around the corner, lots of issues should be resolved quickly.

Get ready. [PVP]ClassWars will be back and better than ever with updated classes featuring new weapons and equipment, new arenas, better automated features in-game, and more server up-time shortly after the 1.0.5 release!

Design an Arena Contest!

[PVP] Class Wars is hosting our first contest!

Submit your designs as a comment here for a chance to have your arena added to the map! Winner(s) will also receive a custom [VIP] tag and reserved slot on all dedicated servers!

The rules and guidelines for this contest are simple:
1. All designs must be your own original work (and credit anyone who may have helped)
2. Arenas must be balanced for ranged and melee classes (does not have to be mirrored)
3. An arena must have at least two team starting areas
4. Entries may be 'to-scale' drawings or in-game screenshots, but an actual test map would be preferable

Easy enough, right? This contest does not currently have a cut-off date; that will be judged based on the rate of entries. However, there may be multiple winners decided while the competition is still running. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

The server mod we use is taking forever to update or even release documentation so people can rewrite their plugins...and this "merged" version is fairly laggy/has a few bugs from what I've read.

The other viable server mod (TShock) will not add even one basic feature that is required for this project, so will just have to wait until they can implement the structure for custom plugins (then would have to rewrite everything from scratch anyways).

Hopefully all of this will get resolved soon. We will begin the next testing phase once it is done.
