The overview explains it. "Those who are members can find each other by posting announcements displaying their status.

In your announcement you must specify what game you are in (L4D1 or L4D2), members of your crew thus far (1/4, 2/4, etc.), and relative geographical location. The reason behind this is so players will be able to figure out who is closest to them to accommodate ping. "

Haha, I was thinking the same thing, Askumi. Sorry, but I can't believe that the group's name isn't even capitalized. The group avatar is pretty funny, though. Haha.
