Changing topic, does anyone ever wanted to create models for characters and general crew or aliens? I am planning using a simple system for away teams on a STAW narrative playing and these models would be handy!

I just tested your fantastic "STAW"-Mod for Tabletop Simulator. I had this problem: When I tried to connect/sync my ship with the movement-console I became this error-code:

ERROR in Script (NORMAL EMPTY) (...)

Does someone has an idea what the problem is?

I'm interested in playing STAW, I'm primarily a 40k player but would like to give this a go sometime. I've had a look at X-Wing and played it a little with FlyCasual but I'm not really a fan of Star Wars, I prefer Star Trek

Ive also made a Facebook group but it is small at the moment but with steam I have no way to post a message directly to everyone at once which makes FB atractive.

wiegeabo [LKM] simply pull up the faction you need in TTS and pull what you want out, the ships and the cards. I usually keep them in a single deck in the order I need with the ship models on top. Then select everything and right click on it to open the menu and select save to chest. Name it something you will remember. Then load up my playing table and on the top menu bar under objects/chest pull your saved fleet and drag and drop onto the table and you are ready to play

I am usually around so I would be happy to play sometime.

The mod has been updated to inclued player colors.

The auto lock is something I am aware of and trying to fix. LUA programming is still new to me so it may take some time. Currently I am just canablelizing the code from the XWing table. Just after you move hover your mouse over the model and press 'L'. I will look into the player color bug right now. Would you be interested in a game sometime?

Yup, Benjamin gave me a bit of a tutorial. Seems to be going well with a few exceptions that are more table related. The scripting on the STAW Setup table sometimes causes the models to not be able to be selected anymore or stuck in the lock position, and the colour selection is missing from the start, so we have to choose colours in a different board, then load up the STAW Setup table. Other than that, running very smoothly, having a great time playing.

Wikki, you probably already got a handle on it but all you need to do is get your ships and cards organized and then right click and in the gui menu select save to chest. Give it a catchy name and then all you have to do is look in your chest's saved objects and you are good to go.

I did wind up purchasing the program to give it a try. It looks great! Just learning to brig the fleets into the main board as objects. My friend and I are going to try to play a game tonight. Your work is greatly appreciated!

Hi Wikki, yes it works well enough. Currently getting the templates to go in the right place is a bit tricky and takes practice. It's a limitation on TTS and not much I can do. But currently I am working on getting the moving ships part of the game to be automated. Which should greatly reduce the time needed to play a game.

Its not perfect but I enjoy it and am proud of the amount of work I have put in.

Does the STAW work well on this? I will buy Tabletop sim tonight if it does.

Content for the lastest ships has been added to the mods for the Borg, Klingon, and Federation factions. Also as many of you have seen I am working on 3d models for all the ships but it is a project that will take a good bit of time to finish. If you have a faverate ship that you like useing in all your builds let me know and I will bump that ship up higher on the list.

@Sgt Scones I host almost everyday now starting at 11am or 12pm (Est) you can stop by when ever you want I teach and come up with the new game mode we play aswell.

Interested in playing, would like to see more events.

@Rhystic_One yeah its been a little slow with the STAW games for the past week. i've had alot of famly prbs and starting to get back too it. as for the time zone its est I host 11am or 8 or 9 pm depending on the day

Benjamin where are you based and at what time do you usually host lobbies? I never find a STAW lobby when I login :(

@Omensign no, we all live in different areas and the group was made so Attack Wing fans could expand the number of people they play with. We play using my mods on the Table Top Simulator workshop. Anyone is welcome to join in a play. Speaking of which if anyone wants to help me practic the next OP event "The Voyage Home" I would love that.
