In the morning hours at KSC today, an SOS call was recieved by a resupply station in high Kerbin orbit. With only a fighter and interceptor on hand, it could not counterract the sudden assault of the newly declared Volu Republic, successors of the Volu Legion. Shortly after the call, large fragments of metal were reported by multiple countries whom had mistaken them for meteors, countries such as Kapania, Jomanic and Touvero. Hanland, allies of the Volu Republic, have stated that this attack was on the Republic's part and that they had nothing to do with today's attack. This assault on home turf has pushed the SWP and it's allies further to declaring war on the Volu.
