-Sonic Dash was updated, and now features Dr. Eggman as a boss fight along with Zazz.

Sidenote: Other then that this week's news is pretty dry, there wasn't much announced. Hopefully next week there will be more information released for the Blue Blur.

-Sega has released numerous amounts of information about their new title Sonic Boom.
-Sonic Boom will not only be recieving a CG cartoon on Cartoon Network this fall, but also a game counterpart in the form of a prequel on the Wii U and 3DS later this year. Sonic Boom also has a toy line coming out as well.
-Sonic Boom is not being developed by Sonic Team, but a studio named Big Red Button Entertainment which comprises of ex-naughty dog employees who worked on games in the Uncharted and Crash Bandicoot franchises as well as Jak and Daxter.
-Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy and Eggman all recieved new character designs as Sonic Boom is not canon in the modern Sonic storyline, but it has it's own canon in a different universe. While Sonic Boom is being developed in the West entirely and is not being released in Japan, Sonic Team is currently working on the next modern Sonic title in Japan at the time of this news update.

My Steam account was temporarily wiped out for a good 30 minutes ago due to a Steam cloud malfunction. It scared the living daylights out of me and reminded me that I must be more careful with keeping up with everyone and my account itself. -Ryo Hazuki recently released as DLC for Sonic and All Stars Racing Transformed
-Summer of Sonic has been included in the Guiness World Records book as the first convention for a video game character.
-Silver the Hedgehog is now a playable character in the smart phone game, Sonic Dash.
