Hey everyone,
For ensuring clean connections between distant sites, please keep the following standard wall/floor alignments in mind:

In the Y (vertical) direction, place floor blocks such that **when you are standing on them**, the F3 Y-axis indicator shows 65.62 +/- 4x (... 61.62...65.62...69.62...etc)

In the X (South-North) direction, place walls such that, when standing on them, the F3 X-axis indicator shows 0+4x (0...4...8...12...etc.) in the positive direction, or -3-4x (-3...-7...-11...etc.) in the negative direction. The reason for the discrepancy is that Minecraft has both a 0 and a -0 coordinate. Note that positive values are *south* in Minecraft.

In the Z (West-East) direction, place walls such that, when standing on them, the F3 Z-axis indicator shows 0+4x (0...4...8...12...etc.) in the positive direction, or -3-4x (-3...-7...-11...etc.) in the negative direction. Note that positive values are *west* in Minecraft.


Summary:

When standing on a block:

Floors: 65.62 +/- 4x (...61.62...65.62...69.62)
Walls - positive: 0+4x (0...4...8...12...16...etc.)
Walls - negative: -3-4x (-3...-7...-11...-15...etc.)

You don't need to make every wall/floor align with these coordinates but try to align outer structures at any particular site to those numbers for easy underground linkups between sites.
