First You Need To Be Able To Open Your Console and Know How To Bind A Key.
So Here Is A Quick And Sweet Tutorial.

Opening Your Console
Open you game options go to controls/keyboard from there you will see a advanced options button click it.
A new menu will come up with 2 check boxes.

Fast weapons switch
And
Dev Console

You Must Have The Dev Console Box Checked.
After It Is Checked Click OK and Then Apply
Now While Your In Your Game Your Press The ~ Key And Your Console Will Open.

Binding A Key
Open Your Console You Will See A Place At The Bottom To Type.
Here Are A Couple Of Examples Of Binding A Key Using Standard Functions Of The Game.

bind "uparrow" "forward"
bind "mouse1" "fire"
these are set within the game options under controls
other commands are binded the same way.
for example your on the server and you want to just press a key to open up the main WCS Menu.
you would open your console and type something simular to this
bind "m" "wcsmenu"
submit or enter.

Now when you playing the game and want to pull up that wcsmenu instead of typing wcsmenu in the chat area you press m and the menu comes up for you.

playerinfo - See a player's info

You Can Either Type These in Your Chat Area Or Bind Them To A Key.

To use your ultimate, abilities use the following binds:
+ultimate
+ability
+ability2
+ability3
+ability4
+ability5
ex.
bind "mouse4" "+ultimate"
bind "1" "+ability"
bind "2" "+abilty2"
or
bind "mouse5" "+ability"
what ever would suit you best.
Not all Races Need An Ability Binded
But All Races Have An Ultimate.
