I am sorry it took me over two months to address your comment. I think you have a pretty decent idea here. However I disagree with two things.
Server invasions, the ones that I have seen, are childish. If that is the sort of thing we will do then we are only going to become a group of trolls.
The other idea is the idea of a competitive team. This is more a personal thing. I do not play TF2 anymore, nor am I interested in TF2 enough to play it competitive. I was invited to form competitive groups in the past, but I refused with the idea that if you forget that you are playing for fun then you lose the point of the game.
If Miki wishes for this though you have my full support. I will inform her of your ideas ASAP, & hopefully you are still as enthusiastic as you were two months ago.

TL;DR ---> We don't need a server to bring back the group, which is the reason I believe pushed the group into inactivity. The more we post here the more active people will become. Join each other's game, have a sniper duel, whatever will get us back up and functioning.

Ok, seeing as this group is slowly disappearing, most likely when there weren't any volunteers for the server donations, I say we recreate the group itself. It's been over a YEAR since the last comment, It could be any kind of group, of course; we don't need a server to operate as a group. It would actually be fun to do server invasions where we can all rush a pub and possibly collaborate. What I'm building up to here is that we could bring back the group again, but we would do it in a way that required nothing but time. We might even be able to form a competitive team, as I'm fairly confident that not everyone here is a sniper main. The hardest part about this is getting our small population of 21 people to see this message. As always, any thoughts are appreciated.
