Steamgift foolishing with Value

Hi you all,

Well maby you no it or not but I got now some information about Steamgift that will change the hole gifting society (I think).
The value of gifting ist with bundelgifting limittid to $30 but if you gift non bundle games/keys your value rises. Nothing new jet but here it comes.

If afterwerds the game you gifte is coming on a bundellist on steamgift you value will be reduced againe!!!
Like it happend a friend of mine he had over $120 and after weeks his value was reduced to $65. WTF

The hole idear of gifting is in that way in danger!
I will not gift anymore in steamgift untill they change the way how to treed ther
contributors.
We (inhumanM and cybergsus93) created a outside forum wehre we would like to join and I think we can do there future give aways...rendomly will ble implemented..I hope ;-)

Well who want to join can get the link in privat that means post here in discussion "join list" that you would like to join and I send you the link by steam, cause we would like to have aktive members and good people from the beginning and no farmers.

Steamgifts schould reward every user regardless of what kind of giveaway (bundled or not) is created. Making a bundle list and putting a contribution limit on it will only make others gift such games in other ways

Well the steamgifts bundle list grows bigger every day ... and the functionality that i miss the most is something like THIS [www.steamgifts.com]

Before implementig this bundle games were not alowed at all (with seperate keys)! Sistem that is implemented now allows gifting of bundle games, but there are restrictions of contribution points. That kind of system promotes gifting of more desirable or expensive games. For comparison look at http://www.galagiveaways.com/ ... right now there are 18 pages of games to win and over 95% of games are from bundles. You can rarely see expensive AAA game there. Yea this sistem with contribution points is not perfect ... but it does a good job balancing bundle and nonbundle giveaways, so you can win both. As for other forum, i'll surely contribute a giveaway from time to time :)

I think that second reduction you're talking about only happens if you give away a game that's in a bundle after it appears in a bundle and before SteamGifts adds it to their list as a bundle game. That shouldn't happen much, but it does happen now and then. But as hustlayo's link says, SteamGifts does seem to be applying their rules consistently here. Still, I'd be willing to check out your other forum. I can't guarantee high activity there, but I'll take a look if you tell me about it. Thanks.
