For the PvP server they ask that people register on our forums and create a guild app in the proper forum. Also, they can send an in-game message to 'Werd' if they have any questions or would like an in-game invite.

"4SCIENCE" added themselves to this group (since its open), and attempted to get me to "listen to some songs" they made. As soon as I questions who they were and which shacker they are (since the profile is private), they logged out. I went ahead and kicked them from this group. but maybe this group needs to be locked down....

Security hole found and fixed.

The security "hole" in the Rift login system was found by forum user and officially fixed by Trion in under two hours today. It was a flaw in the login system that didn't require the hacker to know the username or password to gain access, a random series of numbers would just plunk the offending party into a random account. In any case, Fixed!

I got this phishing message this morning, apparently targeted at online members of our Steam group:

Hello you are welcomed by administration steam. You immediately should inspect the account online-anticheats http://steamproxy.com/steamstore/valveanticheats . If you do not execute it, the account will be disconnected in a current of 5 hours. For disconnected and ban accounts steam responsibility does not bear!
