Okay so I created about a few days ago but when I checked back the next day, the channel was apparently not there. I'm not sure if it's that Dota 2 doesn't save certain channels that are created or I just didn't find it. This is to inform you if you go look and can't find it, in the meantime I will try to find a way to fix this problem if it is a problem.

The name of the channel is redditdota2learners so come join the chat channel and team up with others who are already in-game and who also want to learn and play. In case you are having trouble finding it, look in the customs tab and scroll down to the r section.

I'll create the channel asap, I don't know what to name it yet but it could be under the group name if it hasn't been taken.

One last suggestion, do you guys think we should create a channel in-game like all the other channels where people socialize so that when we join and if anybody else is on, people could get together easier and play together?

Myself and two friends would be more the eager to play with people since my friends aren't big on the hostility of solo queue. We're all pretty damn new though, how are members sorted? By region or skill level?

@FanMan: I think that is a great idea. If we can get a 5v5 SD game, we should definitely try and get that going. I could use some experience with new heroes. I will be on Saturday afternoon PST, most likely if we want to give it a shot.

Do you guys think that once a week we should get together and play in groups where we play heroes that we've never really tried before or want to get better at. Or roles we haven't really done and help give each other tips. I think it would be best to have it on a set day each week like maybe Saturday so that everybody gets a chance to play in a group?
