The Official Purdue Sci-Fi Club Steam Group!

Founded in 1896, the Purdue Science Fiction club has hosted a wide variety of events centered around the pursuit of knowledge and expanding our understanding of scientific principles. From the great science fiction writers of the past to current theorists we strive to create a friendly and conducive educational environment that fosters new ideas and intellectual – Oh come on they really want me to say this crap? Why lie to them, we're not nearly this serious. Okay fine, why don't I just tell them to bring their degrees and fancy-pants doctorates as part of their initiation? Don't you get sarcastic with me Bill, I know where you live. I'm just trying to be truthful here and – What do you mean you've been typing all this in the whole time?

A whole new year of Pseudo-Science!

Welcome back to another exhilarating new year of Purdue Sci-Fi Club! I hope you've all had a relatively fun and probe-free summer, because it's time to get back into action with all-new games, movies and deviant counter-cultural movements courtesy of your friendly neighborhood club organizers!

Our first callout will be on September 9th, 7pm at PAO 1197 just as usual. Bring your friends, family, pets, strangers, and your frontal lobe. There's going to be food and refreshments for all! And by all, I mean a reasonable amount of people, certainly less than your average concrete enthusiast expo but still more than enough to fill a children's swimming pool with; especially if many of those people are midgets. Either way! It's going to be very, very entertaining! : ]

The Phantom Menace was the most disappointing thing since my son. But while my son eventually hanged himself in the bathroom of a gas station, this film lives on forever.
