The Imaginator is one of the moderators of our group. He has set a very good example for all of us how we want this group to run. Almost everyday he makes a 15 minute video and posts it on youtube. He also hosts weekly competions. I encourage all of you to watch just one episode that he has made. I hope in the future this group can host it's own mapping competions. Recently there hasn't been a lot of activity on the group. Please post some maps on the portal 2 map evaluator announcement. DO NOT create a new announcement for you 1 map. this group depends on activity and we all did not join to just be in it. I am warning everyone that if they are idle for to long (over 5 weeks) I will not hesitate to kick them from the group. If you are kicked I will allow you to come back into the group only once (if you are kicked because of inactivity and nothing else). This group was not created just to be a group, it is so we all gain knowledge of the different edditors and all make better maps.
I will start kicking people in one week from now, so if you have been completely inactive all the time you've been here then that could be you. Understand that I don't want to kick any of you out, but it is just what is needed to be done to keep a heathy steam group.

I recently made a map in want people to BETA test so I should know whether to add more to it or leave it be. The test is a test resolving around pre-placed propulsion gel gauntlet, it is kind of hard, but let me know what you think. I will present to you an interesting way to make tests by making them unique.
Most test chamber I've played have not used mass and velocity skills, especially this one, where you place a portal on a ledge one block higher than anothr portal below you, and you gradually gain height after jumping back into the bottom portal, see here: http://steamproxy.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=93014003

You can pre-place gel on doors to color them, use gel as lighting as well as techniques. Such as when you come into a dark room and there are symmetrical gel trails on the wall being used, less as a lighting, but as something that shows the dimensions of the chamber. This chamber, you have to play it, it uses a completely new idea with the excursion funnels, rather than carying an object, it reduces velocity of an object, and then releases it into a receptacle. http://steamproxy.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=74138674
