Ohio's Playgorund has gone through quite some changes over the last few months. We have switched from my home office computer to a dedicated sever machine that I purchased, meaning that the servers now have more reliability, and more room for activity. We no have a main cluster of PvE with Aberration, Ragnarok, Scorched Earth, Crystal Isles, and an Island PvP map for those of you interested in battle. We also have a separate PvE server focused around Extinction Core on the Center. Our community has been stronger than ever on Discord, with many players hanging out and talking, along with our servers consistently attracting a good number of players. If you haven't been on in a while, feel free to check out the servers to see all of the changes, and definitely join our Discord linked in the group page to join the community and hangout

I have just finished setting up a second server for Ohio's Playground! We now have a server on the Island clustered with our Aberration server, so you can easily transfer between the two servers. All the rules and server settings are the same on the Island, so feel free to stop by any time and check it out

For those of you still around, we have launches an ARK Aberration server. You can find this server by searching for Ohio's Playground in the Unnofficial tab. The server is PvE, lightly modded, and has a friendly community. If we get enough people on, I will also bring back the website, and hopefully start rebuilding the community. Let me know if you have any questions or suggestions for the server, and feel free to stop by anytime!

Currently, between the two servers, there are a total of three admins. There is me, Fraz, and Bear. When all of us are frequently playing, this isn't too much of an issue. However, all of us are taking college classes right now, so our schedules can be a bit unpredictable. With this, it's hard to have one of us around to help all the time. It has also been mentioned by multiple people that the server could use another admin or two.

If anyone is interested in becoming an admin, please message me on steam, or send me an email at [email protected] . If you want to be an admin, just give me a brief reason as to why you want admin status, how often you play, and how knowledgeable you are of using admin commands (no prior knowledge is needed, though it's always nice to know what you know). There's a good chance that if you're applying for admin status that I already know you, or at least have become somewhat aquainted with you, so you don't need to include a lengthy introduction explaining who you are.
