Dynamic Team Tags Binds (Changing your tags really fast)
I think this is obvious but before you do this trick, you have to be in the groups you want showing up on the scoreboard.
>>Join an empty match or any match in CS:GO. While doing these commands DO NOT PRESS ANY OTHER KEYS, it will mess up your binds.
IF ALL GOES WRONG GO TO GAME SETTINGS AND KEYBOARD MOUSE, RESET TO DEFAULT.
1. Find the clan you want to bind to a key
- Escape, Game Settings, Team Tags
2. Select that team tag
3. Exit the settings and type in console cl_clanid
4. A set of numbers should pop up (Ex. "cl_clanid = 123456789")
5. Copy those set of numbers and nothing else
6. Then choose the key you want to bind too
IMPORTANT
Make sure you know thE command of the key you are binding it to
For example if you bind a clan to the key "A" the command you would add would be +moveleft
To find the function of a key type in console bind (Selected Key)
For example, bind a it should come up as bind a = +moveleft
7. Now using the command you found from the bind and the set of numbers
type bind a "cl_clanid (NUMBERS); +moveleft"
REMEMBER THAT COMMANDS ARE NOT THE SAME FOR EVERY KEY. FOR INSTANCE, W IS +forward.
8. Now, find another group and select as your team tag. Repeat the process and bind the clan to a different key than before. Remember to type cl_clanid for every different clan.
Common Mistakes:
- Forgetting the semi-colon in the command ( ; )
- not typing the right numbers for the bind
- binding the wrong key to the wrong command
