I have not shown interest in maintaining these servers for quite some time. Matchmaking stopped sending players to them, and I haven't played on them with my Steam friends in forever. And they are expensive. I've decided that the money is better spent on other games. I am hosting a Minecraft server in conjunction with the Foxelbox Minecraft community, which is also shutting its own servers down. Of course we can still play MvM together, as there are always other servers. And the No Rules group is free, so it's not going away. I'm just shutting down the 2 MvM servers to save money. I should have done this a while back, but couldn't be arsed to back up the plugin data until now because laziness. But that's done now.

I may bring them back at a later date if I get more money to spend on them, which is why I backed up everything on them. It is my own fault that I failed to keep them updated, but I feel that spending the $70/month it costs to keep them running is no longer worth it.

It was fun, at least for the first 2-3 years. I met a lot of good friends on those two servers. But because the servers have been technically dead for nearly a year now, I am turning them off in the interest of saving money. Everything else shall stay the same, though.

P.S. As it happens, Ozzy Furocity (which was the entire reason for me creating a community focused on limited rules) is now dead too.

We have ventured into the cubic world of Minecraft! Our server is located at norulestf2-mc.clanservers.com, or 104.156.237.182:10170. It is whitelist-enabled to help prevent griefing, but anyone can apply.

Both of these require you to have a No Rules Forum account. If you don't have one, all you have to do is click the green Sign In with Steam button. We use Steam OpenID authentication, so we never see your Steam password.

First of all, I got another job! As always, the server will remain open for donations. If you wish to contribute and help the community expand, you are more than welcome to do so. We appreciate your generosity! Also, we're taking suggestions for new perks. Post them here[norulestf2.clanservers.com] and they will be considered. No game-breaking mechanics or unfair advantages, though.

I know I have been slow to get the word out that the community is open for donations. I have also been slow to find desirable perks and rewards that compete with those of other clans. I apologize for this. I would like to start by saying that, if any of you have ideas for donator perks that are desirable and do not break things, please post them in our forum and I will give them serious consideration.

I have been paying for the No Rules servers out-of-pocket since the community started. So far, that has been fine. But now, I am in-between jobs. It won't be long before I am unable to continue paying for the servers. Assuming the worst happens and I do not get hired again in the next couple of months, and I do not receive enough donations to keep the servers up, I will have to shut them down. Therefore, I humbly ask those of you who are regulars within our community to please open up your hearts and donate to our community so that I may keep the servers running.

These donations go straight to my server host and are credited to my account. I have no direct access to the money except to pay the server bill. Also, my provider imposes a $5 minimum.
