Welcome to the new Pro Hosting community!

Modern Warfare 2 Pro Hosting was established for players wanting to find scrims, ringers and tryouts. We know how hard it is to go into IRC Channels and find the things you need, and then have to add the players steam and do a bunch of pesky work. Our goal is to bring that kind of service to Steam! We recommend all players to use the Steam Group Chat Room and use the chat room as a, what some may call it, the Steam integrated IRC channel. If we can get all members of Modern Warfare 2 Pro Hosting to idle the chat room, as they do the IRC channels, players will simply have to just post in the chat room what they need, another member will respond, and then simply click on their name and click invite! Easy, simple, fast.

Looking for more teamates?

I've decided to help out some teams that are still involved with this community by setting up announcments for each team so that they may have their own section for players to post on for tryouts. If your team is looking for dedicated players, you may do two things:

1. Send me a message on Steam (Nick - Perhaps?)

2. Email me: [email protected]

Please provide the following information:
- Team Name
- Age Limit
- Class Specification
- Leagues/Tournaments involved
- Member List (Will be updated anytime you send me another message of a new recruit.)
- Time Zone (If your team requires)

If you have any other information you wish to be input into your teams section, just let me know.

Modding Tools

Twitter reports show that on Sunday, December 13th 2009, Rob Bowling at Infinity Ward let out news of a possible release of Modding Tools for Modern Warfare 2. He does not explain when it will occur but this insures the public that there may still be hope for future competition.

Though this small glimmer of light now shines upon the many leagues of previous and continuing CoD4 competitions, there is still the issue of Dedicated Servers. Rob tells us that there is still no news on whether it will be released at this time.
