Happy Concing Buddies

Indeed, this is a buddies-server (thus passworded: the key is YOU),
allowing us to play our lovely skillz-maps without the risk of seeing
'random players' connecting and possibly disrupting the game.

This is a BONUS private server allowing me to continue my Euroskillz work
(on mapinfos, map-pics, and now even coding and fixing maps), a work
which started in 2006 with Lt Llama (the 'father' of Euroskillz TFC Servers)
and continued 'til 2010 when I helped him maintain Ez servers with a few other selected buddies.

That's why I also wanted to rent my own server: to go deeper on this way,
learning more server-side stuff, and I must say I love it.

I also wanted to -finally- install two main plugins that we couldn't have in the past:
'altmod' (allowing you to play any map as any class) and 'saveme-posme' (notably useful to try reverse jumps).

Some maps crashed the server because of altmod, so I tested them all and fixed the buggy ones,
thanks to Weaszle (who showed me the way to 'bspedit'). ;)

These 2 plugins also forced me to code additional 'no-cheat' routines (regarding stats
of finished maps) but I enjoyed brainstorming on this too.

Coding is going on... (there's ALWAYS something to do!), you'll find out about new features when they become available.

New IP address

The server has a new IP since mid-April: 92.222.77.216:27012

It's still hosted at OVH (North of France) but it's now a VPS (instead of a dedi) and thankfully using a different routing inside OVH's network (see the Issues discussion for more info about this).

For anyone still looking, Mr Koala has kindly updated the Skillzworld kz (climb) server with a rewritten plugin that allows proper stat recording, multiple speed run attempts, and proper speed run rankings on this IP: 116.202.113.40:27015

The conc/rocket.pipe server should be updated ASAP, too: 116.202.113.40:27022

We are still flying right now, Maps cannot stop us! We hope the best of the skill server will be up soon again to show how the skills run to the whole TFC World! I'm willing about this. ^^ :)
