The Mini Sentry Resistance

Do you enjoy playing Team Fortress 2?

Do you enjoy the freedom of movement, being able to focus on vital targets?
Do you enjoy the freedom to humiliate other players with the occasional market gardening or sandman-cleaver combos?

Do you despise having to watch out for that little stinger swiftly draining all your health?
Which never misses a shot?
Which takes the exact amount of your attention you can't afford to waste?
Which doesn't seem worth taking down because it will come back in an instant?
Which takes two rockets to eliminiate in the first place?
Which isn't that effective, yet an incredible annoyance for everyone involved?

Do you want to firmly express your resentment towards that little anthrophobic contraption?
Or do you need another steam group to increase your personal self esteem?
Then this is the group for you!

.MSR. is not about whining. It's about having fun and enjoying Team Fortress 2, which is and has always been a great game.

.MSR. does its best to avoid the term "overpowered". The point we're raising is that the mini sentry's current presence in the game widely causes annoyance and frustration and more often than not eliminates one of the key elements a game should have: Fun.

The ultimate goal of this .MSR. is to see the Mini Sentry either [A] removed or nerfed in a way that allows for smooth gameplay to be restored. We have collected a couple of prominent ideas as to point B:
- Lower the Mini Sentry's general health
- Increase its size
- Increase its fragility during construction
- Reduce its firing speed
- Increase the amount of metal required for construction
- Remove the gunslinger's health bonus

.MSR. directs its message at the TF2 playerbase (to win people over, obviously), but primarily at Valve, hoping that by constructively voicing our opinions we can accomplish a change for the better.
That being said, .MSR. tries to approach matters on a friendly, fun-focused and relaxed basis and takes no responsibility for inappropriate, offensive and destructive conduct on its member's part.
This is a public group and everyone is welcome. But keep the hate out.
Which will prove to be a challenge.
