Welcome to modtheplanet,

Currently we are working on too many projects at once and want to welcome those that have started watching. I can only promise that anything found here will always be unique. Soon we will be launching modtheplanet.com where most of our content will be better organized, until then enjoy the group as this will be the main location for all of our project and discussion until then.

As for what you all may be waiting for, the main projeect Cyborgs Can't Cry, we don't have a release date and it could be a long time coming, but hang in there! Until the full project is released, we have decided to launch some development servers that will mostly be vanilla and we will slowly test each addon for release.

Current Projects

SkidRowFeverDream (CS:GO Surf)

GRIP (core addon) - Action, Fps, Rpg
Garry'smod Roleplay In Peace, is a core addon that will provide hundreds of new supported functions to your server which can help you build incredible gamemodes without any extra addons, just add materials, models and plugins. New VGUI elements with skin functionality.

Mudhut (GRIP plugin / module) - DarkRP Module to simulate property/territory and ownership, soon to be a standalone mod for use on any server. This will create a lot of world data which we can use to simulate real combat environments and later play with realistic NPC interactions.

Rough winters here in Canada... Just kidding, It's a temperate climate here, what I meant to say was; "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, did that just happen again"? The answer is yes.

WTF is he talking about?
This winter I went through a rough ass breakup with my girlfriend, this time it feels like the last. During this time I took a break from Gmod because I couldn't get anyone to even look at my projects and get feedback so I was doing some web design for a friend. I was paid practically minimum wage for 2 months and would go home and work 8+ hours on my own time into the night coding a new framework for his website (it was basically plain text and HTML before), and at the very end of it threw a tantrum and scrapped the whole project for no reason wasting hundreds of man hours I just spent creating a fully modular site.

So... I am broke, tired, emotional, ready to quit and just work on my own projects until some magic happens. In fact, the other day magic did happen... some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ clown put up a rip off version of mudhut on ScriptFodder. How funny is that?

I'll tell you how funny, maybe i'll keep all my scripts private now, or maybe i'll just give them away for free so the script kiddies get mad.

Hello fellow modders and gamers,

I am just stopping by today to let you all know I have put all Gmod projects on hold and am working on modtheplanet.com

This shouldn't take long, but I am trying to build a very large game community built upon modding "NOT HACKING" games. It is ataking a bit becuase a lot of the forum software is lacking in functionality so I am rebuilding it and then I want to theme the site and provide links to all related content suh as developer libraries and tool downloads.

What does this mean for Gmod?

Well, it means that in a couple weeks when I go back to modding Parallel and MudHut, that I can release it on modtheplanet.com and direct attention toward our community and in the long run, have more population for you all to play with by launch. This also means more feedback and testing.

Early access to the forums can be gained through. modtheplanet.com/forum Your posts and profiles are not guaranteed to be saved until launch, I just don't want to see you lose a lot of posts or profile work and then be upset.
If you are going to sign up for the forum right now, please do it through steam.

Until launch, I will be posting all the game modifications, bugs, glitches, and backdoor commands that I have ever learned playing all these fun titles. This will help me get used to posting and the forum software and allow me to add functionality that streamlines this process for you guys.

If you have any feedback or comments please post it on the Steam Group for now.

Still working away. At a new job now and everything is starting to run smooth again. Looks like it's time for a mod. Luckily, I have been working in the background on ideas this whole time and piecing together the game. A BIG update coming soon...

Modtheplanet will be the best thing that has happened to GMod in a long time, I promise you this. Wether you have been with me since CCC and the cynical ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that we all endure as a young mind or you are just passing through, I want you all to know that our time is now. I know it always seems like it is so far away, but the day is near and there will be many sleepless nights for me until we can share our vision with you.

Hey guys, once again more work to be done on Mudhut, I will try to draw out as many of the menus at work this week until I have them all completed. I want to simplify the editor a bit again and finish the player menus. I rebuilt the whole backend the last 5 days because I had the day off, it works now with internal functions so we never mess with the core again. This should speed up future updates. I still don't have a release date planned for Mudhut, but you will here about it here first. Happy Modding!

Rebuild is almost complete. The menu is multi-user ready and I am soon moving on to the best and final part of the alpha version for MudHut. Prepare for awe!

Still working hard on the release. I needed to do a lot of work in the menu system to make it so that multiple people can edit properties at the same time and it will all refresh correctly. At least this is good practice for group inventory systems later. Good news is that once I update the way the menu refreshes content then it should make the whole process go a lot faster.
