Hi everyone,

Sorry for the very late devlog, a lot of things have been happening in my life that I have to deal with. My mother being in the hospital is one of them which got me a lot less productive as well as not getting a job still. She's recovering right now but it might be a few weeks till she's 100% so I wont be saying when the next devlog will be but know that I'm still working on the game, albeit more slower than I'd like.

The last time I showed a preview of a sketch/outline for Nhara that I did and now I can show the prototype version of Nhara:



Some things will change in the final version of course and hopefully be better than this version. This is all that was done that I can show but I have drafted some gameplay ideas that will make the game more dynamic than linear and I'm really excited to try to prototype some of them when I'm able to.

Right now my main focus is to start catching up with my last devlog; to start animating Nhara, The Puppet, and the one enemy I created then implement them into the game. Once I'm done with all that I'll be creating some basic prototype levels to test how the current gameplay loop feel with what I have already implemented and if I have to tweak things to make them better. Next will be the audio implementation and finally release a pre-alpha which you all will be able to try while giving feedback on how everything is and what can be improved.

Hi everyone,

It's been a while since my last devlog and I apologize for not updating you all in a timely manner. I got burnt out on the project and was busy trying to get a part time job. I haven't made much progress since my last devlog due to this but that'll be changing, starting this week I'll be redoing my schedule and be switching my devlogs from every two weeks to every month in order give more content to each devlog.

Of course I wont be leaving without showing something at the least, so here's a rough outline sketch of the main character Nhara:




The next devlog will be around March 1st - March 5th. (Had to move it due to personal dealings.)

I have to sadly delay devlog #3 due to me being sick for half the week. I am feeling a lot better now and development will continue from here on forward n.n

Hi all,

Sorry for the little delay on this devlog, had to change it by a few days due to having to create a dialogue system that works along with Unity's new input system. As much as it's easy to do general stuff with, I have to admit, it's a pain to work with code-wise. I'm not much a coder but I got something at least, so hopefully it doesn't cause too much issues later ;w;

I was able to create some prototype art of one of the enemies for the game and a side character that Nhara will be interacting with quite a bit.

One of the enemies I sketched up and will probably be the only one in the Pre-Alpha (Will have more enemies in the final version). I loosely based this off the new Girafarig from the upcoming Pokemon games which I found pretty creepy and thought maybe I can make it a little creepier. I plan to finalize the design and get it ready to animate by the end of this week.



As for the side character, meet The Puppet. Her plans are unknown and whether she can be trusted or not is something you will need to find out in the final version of the game n.n Just like with the enemy prototype I'll be getting ready to animate her by the end of this week but generally this will be close to the final design.

Nhara's art hasn't been done yet sadly since I spent quite a bit on the coding aspect but I will be getting that done by this Friday to then start animating them all.
