Hello everyone! We're nearing the end of our list of people who are receiving the free keys from the promotion, with about 25% left to go! We want to thank you all for your patience as we have been giving them out, one by one, to over 2000 supporters!

The second episode of Chronicles of a Dark Lord, War of the Abyss, is coming to Steam TOMORROW, January 16, for sale and download! We encourage you to buy the game if you enjoyed the first Episode, Our developers, composers, writers and artists have been hard at work on this game for a while, and we are very excited to have it available to you on Steam.

Here is a brief FAQ to answer a lot of the questions we have been getting lately.

Q: I haven't got my key yet!
A: We are working on it. For those that have been patient, we thank you. For those that are impatient, please be patient. We are not a large company and we are getting through this as quickly as we can. If you haven't gotten the key yet, but you are eligible, you can add the account Kisareth Studios PR to your steam buddylist and contact us.

Q: I tried to add Kisareth Studios PR and got an error message.
A: This is due to a limit on steam to how many friends a person can have. We are always removing people who got their keys, so just try again a few hours later.

Q: I voted and joined the group, am I eligible?
A: As explained in the original post, we require people to have voted, jointed the group and posted in the appropriate thread during the time period between when the group was created and when we got greenlit. Posts from after October 20th or posts not in the appropriate thread are not eligible.

Q: How was I supposed to know to post in a certain thread?
A: The thread was called "Post your vote notes here! (and get a Steam key)" In our original announcement we instructed people to use the proper thread, and we created one that says post here for a key. We are sending keys to everyone who posted in that thread, not in seperate threads, on the discussion page itself, on our profile, or on the greenlight page.

Q: If I didn't post in that thread, but I still voted, can I get a key?
A: Sorry, no. We are giving away over 2000 keys as it is.

Q: If I already bought the game, but I am eligible for a key, can I still get it and give it to someone else?
A: Yes, if you are eligible for a free key, you get a key. If you want to give it to someone else, that is your right.

Q: Why don't you distribute through Who's Gaming Now?
A: We didn't know about them at the time, but at this point we are nearly done going through our list and it would not be feasible to bring them in to this promotion..

Q: I got added by Kisareth Studios PR, but they unfriended me without saying anything!
A: Everyone we add is sent a message, it's possible that you didn't see it. You can go into your message history via the steam community website (through a browser) and view it there. If you are having trouble, just re-add us and send a message that you didn't get to see the message, and we will resend you the key.

Q: I got a key, but it's a duplicate.
A: We apologize for these issues, it seems some of the keys that were put into our spreadsheet were also used in a bundle. As of last week, we have replaced all of the keys with fresh ones generated by Valve. If you got a duplicate, Please email us at [email protected] with your username, a link to your profile and the key that did not work and we will get back to you.

Q: I bought the game through Desura/Shiny Loot where is my key?
A: We have sent the keys to both Desura and Shiny Loot, we can confirm that they do have them, however the timing of the distribution is up to them, we understand your frustration, please contact them directly about this.

Q: I got a key but got an error message other than the duplicate
A: First, make sure you are entering the entire thing, if you still get a message other than it being a duplicate, please take a screenshot of the error and send it to [email protected] and we will look into it.

First and foremost, we'd like to thank you for voting for us to get Greenlit! Without you, we wouldn't be here. We're about halfway through the key distribution process! We hope everyone who got their key is enjoying the game! As a reminder, these keys are being given to those that voted, joined our group and commented within a certain time period. If you did not, you will NOT receive a key unless you can provide evidence that you did.

If you haven't gotten your key yet, feel free to add us (KisarethStudiosPR) so you're not waiting for us to add you. We can give you your key. If you have a duplicate key, email us the key we sent you at kisarethstudiospr[at]gmail[dot]com . This is the easiest way for us to find you in the list. Once we verify you voted and commented, we will send you your key. This will most likely create an influx of requests, so please be patient. Steam allows only 250 friends at a time, so we have to work within those boundaries. We have several people working on getting the keys out as quickly as possible. We're in the US, so if you're international and have a big time difference, we do ask for your patience regarding that.

To get a key, you would have to have sent the message "I voted" to the appropriate thread between 31 july and 22 october.
It is the only way in which we can prove that you have voted.
We have a long list of recipients and it is possible that we have omitted you by mistake/chance, but if you sent "I voted" after the game was accepted on Steam Greenlight, you are not entitled to a key.
