Juno Beach was the code name of one of the five main landing sites of the Allied invasion of the coast of Normandy on D-Day (Operation Overlord) during World War II. It was situated between Sword Beach and Gold Beach (both British beaches). It is also known as the Canadian beach, as it was assigned to the 3rd Canadian Infantry Division.

Maybe we should also note that Juno was pretty much payback for the Dieppe Raid. Juno was the 2nd bloodiest beach, 1st being Omaha... kicked some ass! (they did too.)
