Who are we?

'It's for Charity' is a community driven group dedicated to providing advertisement and assistance in organising events for all things Charity driven inside of are most beloved Videogames.

What's to come?

The group was recently founded and created so we are starting off small focusing on Team Fortress 2 charity events, through time however as the group increases in growth we hope to have the assistance from well known parts of the community with Item creation or Livestreams and are very own hosted events to raise further money for the decided charities, we also have plans for expanding the charity events to even more games so you're constantly posted on your favourite games!

In the near future we will dedicate a community Website for forums and Servers which will be hosting fun and alternative gamemodes to allow users in are community to chat amongst themselves and have the chance to play along with ourselves also!

Rally call 2018 is now live! Please follow the link above to the official Steam group where annoucements and schedules are annouced to all members:

"Rally Call is a series of charity video gaming events, organized by the TF2 community. We raise money for charities."

This has been a brilliant Charity event in the past and I highly recommend checking them out and spending some spare cash or via item donations raise money for the current cause International Animal Rescue:

Good morning/afternoon & evening to you all!

It's been a long month and a bit since this group was created here on Steam, through this duration the group has become a bit silent but I assure you alongside my work I have been trying my best to improve this group as much as possible ready for the future.

Currently as most of you are aware this group has been created to help advertise and publicise Charity events around the Team fortress 2 community (currently) however the main current goal is to have this group expand and garner some attention so the work doesn't go unnoticed.

My goal is to provide a safe haven for players in the community where feedback and improvements are heard and better suit both the needs for the members in this group but also allowing the advertisers for charity events to get more attention.

My current progression goal is to complete this group after that I will be raising a Discord server so everyone interested can talk with myself and other members personally be it general discussion or improvements you would like to see.

After that with the current opportunities I have in the group I'm looking for some development teams interested in creating a webpage for us so we have the use of forums and server statistics if we decide to also move into hosting are own community servers.

It's all a bit hectic at this current time but I appreciate the help and honesty inside of this small community so far,

Apologies to all members for the lack of updates to the group & community, the current progress report is still on-hold, the group requires some volunteering developers for website development & currently hosting is still the main priority as I look for the best/most sustainable hosting service to keep the future website afloat.

If anyone has any friends or contacts for graphical designers, website developers &/or event hoster's please continue to lead them this way if they're interested in helping!

I'm thankful to everyone who has remained apart of this group, as soon as I'm comfortable I will look into recreating the group & opening it back up for advertising & to the public.
