If someone dies on multiplayer and you don't help him up these are your fates: if you let him die on purpose you get a "help penalty", which means that next time you die your friend can let you die. The second fate is that if you let him die by accident, e.g. there were too many enemies then you are let off... These penalties exist because well each time you die you have to pay 1/5 of all your money so yeaaaaaaaaaaaah.
