G9 narrowly misses LAN tourny due to suspected throwing

In recent news, G9 has been disqualified from the upcoming CSGO LAN final in what has been called "Gnomegate" by the pundits. Suspected of throwing for skins in qualifiers, the upcoming FPS e-sport team of Gnome 9 was predicted to be the tournament's top finisher. "Although it may look fishy, our weird strats and tactics are actually part of our larger plan to masquerade as SIlvers in professional matches," says G9's dedicated smoke-pusher, Gnome Child. "So far it's gone quite well, and we've been able to perform several confirmed 360 noscopes against some of the top teams in the league."
ESL declines to comment at this time.
